What do you see

Our blessings are closely related to the way we look at the things. God is the Lord of abundance who is willing to bless HIS children immeasurably but we put limits around our blessings by not looking by the eyes of faith.

God wants us to see everything including God himself , His Son, ourselves and others in the light of HIS WORD.

God has all authority but the Almighty in His love, designs HIS course of actions according to how we look and see in faith. Bible is full of instances where the Lord asked his people “What do you see”.

In Amos 8:1 The Lord asks Amos, What do you see?” In Zechariah 5:2 The Lord asks Zachariah, “What do you see?” In Genesis 13:14 The Lord said to Abraham, “Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever”. The Lord let Abraham chose the measure  of his own blessings based on what he saw. The Lord is the God of abundance but the measure of our blessings remains in our hands. We ourselves decide how wide and big, narrow and small our blessings will be.

How important it is for God’s children to see and choose the right measure in the light of the WORD before even asking God for blessings. How important it is for us to pray that our spiritual eyes be opened so that we may see through the eyes of our faith the immeasurable abundance of blessings in Christ that we are unable to see through our human eyes.
