Be prepared!

Mathew 24:44, “You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.”

Preparation is the key to achieve success in every area of life. Be it work, home, or anywhere else, planning is crucial to bring about the desired consequences. The same principle applies to our walk with the Lord. Preparation in season and out of season is the first step to make room for the promised blessings that a child of God is waiting for. In Luke 18:1 Jesus taught his disciples that they should always pray and never get discouraged,

Jesus added at the end (Luke 18:8), “When the Son of man comes, will He find faith on earth?

Being in flesh and blood, our senses rely more on what we see and hear so none of us can remain in faith all the time.  We move forward for a while and with slight change in circumstances and situation, we tend to get filled up with frustration and hopelessness. We get discouraged and start comparing  our life with others, only to find out that others are better than us. We focus on the lie and deception of enemy and declare that we are alone in this world!

Since our God never sleeps nor slumbers, He keeps a record of our walk, and when He sees us going away from his shelter, He sends the word to rescue us. Some of us receive it, find encouragement and consolation that only God can provide and are filled with renewed strength to move forward.

In this faith journey we learn that the word of God is the greatest encourager and the only source of peace despite  negative circumstances and situations.  We learn to trust more on God and less on our resources when we see  God as the only provider when everyone else runs away and shut their door. By going through different seasons our faith matures and  becomes fruitful in the service of the Lord.

What season are we going today? Are we prepared?

“When the Son of man comes, will He find faith on earth?

The Lord is reminding us through His Holy Spirit to be prepared all the time for His coming. Be prepared for the answer of your prayers even though its been a long time since you have been praying. Be prepared and hold on even though the situation is forcing you to give up.

The Lord will appear when you least expect Him!

He and only He can open doors that you had never imagined. He can use anyone to bless you, even your enemies! All you need is to have full faith in Jesus and confidence in God given abilities.

You serve the resurrected Lord, so be prepared and expect supernatural blessings. In Matthew 17:17 Peter asked Jesus about paying taxes to the authorities, Jesus said, “Go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.”

Our God has full authority in heaven and on earth.

And don’t forget that you are God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. Gal. 4:7

Expect blessings that are above and beyond your abilities! Expect supernatural doors to be opened for you. Expect new blessings into your life!! Be prepared for the head position and promotion at work that you have been longing for such a long time! Expect Godly spouse coming on your way!

Be prepared! Divert your energy in full preparation and skill building rather than thinking that you may never get there.

Trust on the word of Jesus! Have full confidence in your abilities! Be prepared and see how your dreams turn into reality!

Don’t give up! We serve the living God!
