The Little children and Jesus

Mark 10:14-15, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

The Lord has invited us to become partakers in the kingdom of God. Kingdom of God operates on rules and regulations that are set by the authority of the Almighty God. God is Sovereign and In God’s Kingdom, Christ is the King who rules for ever and ever.

In God’s Kingdom, the power of the Lord is sufficient to walk and move. None of us can enter into the Kingdom of God unless being born again. When Nicodemus came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God for no one could perform the miracles and wonders you are doing unless He has come from God.

In response Jesus said, “I tell you the truth no one can see the Kingdom of God without being born again. Not only that, Jesus declared in the next verse that no one can enter into the Kingdom of God unless He is born of water and the Spirit.

It is written that flesh gives birth to flesh and Spirit gives birth to the Spirit. When we believe on the God’s plan of Salvation, we let Jesus enter into our lives to cleanse us. It doesn’t matter how big or small sins we have committed, when we come to the Lord asking for purity from sins, He delivers His people.

Not only does he takes the sins away He also doesn’t keep the record of the past sins and erase them from our memory. It is written that He throws away our sins as far as the east is from the west.

Someone who comes to the Lord in faith asking for His deliverance, is declared a child of God. A child forgets about what happened in the past and enjoys the present without getting worried about the future. A child runs to the father in times of trouble. A child of God doesn’t take heed to the world of guilt if it comes to remind him of past sins. A child of God knows that the guilt and shame has already been atoned for on  the Cross.

Let’s enter into the Kingdom of God as a child knowing that Christ is the one who has taken all guilt, shame, doubt, heaviness, sickness, disease, stress, anxiety, depression and everything that comes to bind and prevents God’s children to enjoy present life. Lets ask God to send His divine help so that we may enter into the Kingdom of God as a child, receiving the blessings that are kept only for us.
