Look Up

Isaiah 40:26 ,“Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.”

Look Up when you hear bad news – Your God is powerful than every negative news and situation and only He can turn every situation and make it a blessing for the praise of His Glory.

In 2 Kings chapter 7: 1-2 Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah[a] of the finest flour will sell for a shekel[b] and two seahs[c] of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” “You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha.

What news did you get today? Is it more powerful than the WORD of God that created heaven and earth? Is it more powerful than the promises of God that are Yes and Amen in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior?

Stand and proclaim the WORD over every negative situation for the Lord alone can bring the blessings that you have never heard nor imagined. HE is the LORD.

Look Up when there is no one to go to – Are you looking for friends and relatives to help you in your time of need? Has everyone left you and you don’t know which way to turn to? look Up and ask the father to send His mighty Spirit that has been given to us as our everlasting helper. Ask Holy Spirit to help you in walking, making decisions, and in everything else in your life.

If you invite Holy Spirit to become an important part of your life, you will notice a drastic change in you and will feel peace of the Lord that passes all human understanding.

Look Up when your plans didn’t turn out the way you had expected – Have you been struggling for long? Have you planned something but things never turned out the way you had expected and you don’t know what to do? Bible says, “Lean not on your own understanding but give your plans to the Lord and He will show you the right way.” Do it for in quietness and trust is your strength.

Look Up and Stand in the mighty strength of the Lord. Look Up and approach the throne of Grace where mercy and grace is available in your time of need. Look Up and see your Salvation Today!

The King of Glory has arrived!

God has called his people to live and dwell in His divine presence. If anything or anyone tries to take the presence of the Lord from his people’s life, the Lord himself stands firm to bring his people back to his sheepfold. Bible tells us that one sheep is lost, the shepherd searches for the lost one until he has found him and when the sheep is found, the shepherd rejoices and carries the sheep on his shoulders to bring it back to the sheepfold.

Often times we, even though we are in Christ, lose focus and start following the desires of our hearts. In this pursuit we don’t realise that we are actually going away from the sheepfold of the Lord who desires that his people live and dwell and have their food in the protective covering of the most High God. God knows that the moment his children go out of his protective covering, they will be attacked so he desires his children not to go out of the shelter that the Lord has prepared for them.

Once a child of God is away from the shelter of the most High God, he makes himself subject to the situations and circumstances that the Lord never wanted his children to go through. Prodigal son went away from the Lord and started losing the treasure and inheritance that the Lord bestowed upon him in his love and care.

But the Lord that we serve is loving and in his divine love and merciful. His love fills the whole universe from heaven to earth. Nothing is impossible with God. Bible says that its not us who loved God first but God loved us first. Bible says, “the one who has given his Son, will he not freely give us all things?”

God’s love surrounds us even when we go out from His presence. He sends his mighty voice to rescue us. He fabricates new desires in our hearts to get reconnected with our Lord and creator. When the Prodigal son had lost everything, he started thinking that he was better off at his father’s place. Likewise, those who go away from God’s presence know how precious God’s covering was and they are filled with deep longing to be in God’s mighty protection again.

When the children of God pour out their heart to the shepherd of their soul, the King of Kings comes to rescue them from the shackles of the enemy. His mighty voice brings God’s children back into the mighty dwelling of most High God.

When the Lord brings his people back into his presence, he blesses them with new authority, new covering and renewed power. The prodigal son didn’t receive any rebuke from the father for being away from Him, on the contrary, he received a new robe, sandals and a ring, which signify new authority, new zeal to announce the good news of salvation and renewal of the covenant between God and His children that has been sealed by the blood of Christ.

If you have been away from the Lord, Pour your heart to the Lord for He is standing at the door to rescue you and bring you back to his sheepfold. Call and receive your deliverance for the King of Glory  has arrived.

Praise the Lord

Psalm 103:1-2, “Praise the Lord O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits. Who forgives all your sins.”

How good it is to praise the Lord in the assembly of his people. When people of God gather together, God sets his throne in their midst, according to the word of God that where two or three gather together in my name, I am there in their midst. Bible emphasises that as children of God we should have fellowship with each other. A coal when left alone can’t do anything but when fire filled believers come together in one accord at one place then miracles and wonders take place. It is written that on the day of Pentecost people were together at one place in one accord and sound of wind from heaven filled the house where they were and each one of them were touched by the mighty tongues of fire. This is the blessing that come upon those who gather together in one accord.

When people with one purpose and fullness of one spirit raise their voices in praise of the works of most High God, then even the unbelievers are filled with great reverence for the Lord and they feel convicted to accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. In Acts chapter 2 when the believers gathered together at one place to worship the Lord, then people from different nations heard them speaking in their own tongues. How strange it is that each one of them heard them speaking in their own native language? Our Lord is gracious to both believers and nonbelievers and He alone can use the spirit filled believers to pray for those who cant pray for themselves, in their own language. The way the Lord enabled the believers to speak the wonders and mighty works of the Lord in the language of those who were present there at that time.

Praise and worship in the congregation of God’s people is a gift from the Lord. Its the Spirit of the Lord that brings like minded people together who in one accord and with the indwelling spirit can raise their voice to the throne of God who is in heaven so that blessings may flow from heaven to earth.

Sometimes, it is hard to praise the Lord when we go through adverse situations that dictate us to do just the opposite. When such seasons arrive in our lives, it is important that we go on our knees and ask the Lord for forgiveness and at the same time we should start speaking to ourselves, asking our soul to praise the Lord.

We should speak to ourselves and command the members of our body that try to rebel and raise their voices against the authority of most high God. We should raise our voice and in the authority of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour command the members of our body to come in complete submission to the authority of most High God. Speaking out-loud is important so that ears hear our own voice and our mind may follow the direction of the voice that speaks in the authority of Jesus Christ.

Speak to yourself today, “Praise the Lord my soul.” Repeat it everyday until it becomes a habit and an essential part of your daily living.

Songs of Joy

Psalm 126:5, “Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.”

Life is unpredictable. We plan for things and prepare for future but sometimes the things go the way we had never anticipated. All of us have to go through the season of sowing  in tears but the word encourages us by the message that those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.

Jesus said in John, “The world make you suffer but be brave I have defeated the world.” We can’t remain victorious in our own strength and might but with the power of the Lord all things are possible. If we confess this word of victory that Jesus has defeated the world and we are in Christ, we become partakers in Jesus earned victory. Bible says that justification is by heart and salvation is by mouth. We not only need to believe on this verse but speak it out-loud to remain victorious in Christ.

God makes us go through different seasons by his Holy Spirit to become powerful in Spirit. We may never know the Lord in all His fullness if we remain at one place in our spiritual journey. God has decided the places and seasons where we will be at a specific time in our spiritual journey. Bible says, “In Him we live and move and have our being.” God is our dwelling place and wherever He takes us, we could move ahead with full assurance that we are never away from His divine protection since we always move in Him as His offspring.

Sometimes we go from one mountain of success to another, other times it seems that life is not moving at the pace we wanted. Whatever happens on this earth happens for a reason and if we have committed our lives into the hands of our Lord and Saviour, we know that we will be see ourselves successful in the Lord regardless of what we see right now.

Keep sowing the seed even though it takes tears to sow them. Keep sowing the seed even though you don’t feel like sowing them. For soon you will gather the harvest with songs of joy.
