Revelation Series – Chapter 22:6-21

The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

The angel of the Lord gave his own testimony. “There are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.” 1Peter5:7-8. The Lord sends his spirit to inspire those whom he has appointed as prophets to glorify His name. It is written, “…the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7. The Lord loves to reveal his plans to his people. His eyes are looking for those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

7 “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”

The Lord is giving a message to all that He is coming soon! But before He comes, He wants His people to be ready since on the day of the Lord .”..The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives.”

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”

The angel of the Lord forbade John to worship him. The angel told John that he is a servant of the Lord just as John and fellow prophet were. He asked John to worship Him. A true prophet of the Lord brings people to the kingdom of God, He proclaims that he is a mere servant and not to be worshipped in any way. The prophet who doesn’t give glory to the Lord is a false prophet since he wants people to worship him. Be careful of people who wants to get all credits for the miracles and wonders that are being done in Jesus name. Be careful of the prophets who are turning people into his worshipper by instilling fear in them. A God sent prophet will bring people to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and will never try to take the glory that is due to the Lord. Beware! The world is full of false prophets!

10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” 12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outsiders are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

The angel told John not to seal the words of the prophesy. The Lord wants everyone to know about his coming. We have a responsibility to let others know that the coming of the Lord is at hand. Let us change the course of our actions and get ready for his coming! Let us serve the Lord fearfully and diligently, so that we may not be found outside of God’s Kingdom. Let us be diligent in the service of the Lord so that we may receive our reward from the Lord, who is the origin and final destination of all. Those who guard the word of testimony by not mixing it up with other teachings, will receive a great reward from the Lord.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.

Jesus gave his own testimony  and He is inviting people to come to him and receive the free gift of the water of life. Those who have received the water of life from the Lord never feel thirsty, their cup is always overflowing with spiritual zeal and joy. Their enthusiasm brings many to the Lord.

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

The word of the Lord is absolute. Nothing can be added to it or taken out of it. The Lord is indeed coming soon! Blessed are those who make themselves ready for His coming!

Revelation Series – Chapter 2

To the Church in Ephesus

Chapter 2:1, “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: “These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among seven lamp-stands.

The Lord has a specific purpose and plan for each one of us. We may not be able to discern the plan of the Lord but when we sit in his Holy presence, he begins to reveal the hidden depth of his heart. The Lord gave a specific message to the church in Ephesus and asked John to tell the churches that the message is from the one who has complete authority over churches and over the angels who have been sent out by most high God to maintain the authority of God over those churches. The Church is the body of Christ. And angels are God appointed chief of army to fight with the forces of darkness that try to stop the answers of God’s people belonging to that specific congregation.

Whichever Church you belong to, pray for the protection of your Church, so that your prayers may not be delayed and hindered.

I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.

The Lord acknowledges the good works of His people. It is written in 1Cor. 15:58, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” The Lord not only keeps a record of his people’s hard work but also their conversation about the Lord. “Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.” Malakai 3:16.

Since we serve the living God who takes delight in smallest details of the lives of his people, how much encouraged and enthusiastic we should be to move ahead and work for his kingdom. Your hard work may not be bringing you any rewards as of yet. But don’t be disheartened. The harvest is coming if you persist and no one will take your share away from you for the Lord himself will reward your work according to your willingness! Our blessings lie at the core of the work that the Lord has assigned to you and me. All of us know our gifts and talents and if we use them diligently in the service of the Lord, we will be blessed according to God’s glorious riches in this world and the world to come!

The Lord not only records our faithfulness and diligence towards him but also the way we treat each other. God has not called us to follow every preacher or prophet blindly but to test them in the light of the Word. Meditating on the Word of God will fill us with wisdom and knowledge to discern whether someone who makes big claims about himself is from God or not. The Lord has called his people to live in freedom! Don’t let anyone enslave you by their self acclaimed positions in the ministry or the works of their hands. Let everything be tested in the light of the Lord!

The Lord is aware of your hardships. He has seen every single tear that you shed in his presence. You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” Psalms 56:8. The Lord is ready to exalt His name by proclaiming His victory over your situation, that will strengthen you to move forward and do greater works for the His Kingdom.

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Your hard work, wisdom, discernment and even hardship can’t save you. What is needed for you and me to remain in the Lord is our first love. Remember the days when you first came to the Lord. How zealous you were to work for Him!How excited you were to tell others about your new found faith! You were so much enjoying God and His Son Jesus that there was no place for any worldly worry or evil hand to touch you! What happens to that zeal my friend? Let’s repent today, right at this very moment asking God for forgiveness, and fresh anointing that will once again soak you and me. The anointing that will cover us so much that will start seeing things through the lens of the light of the world -JESUS.

Lets fill ourselves with spiritual fervor once again and don’t forget to condemn the works of those who have no part in God’s Kingdom! Spiritual zeal makes us bold enough to commend what pleases the Lord and condemn what breaks his heart! IF we do that a great reward will follow us – We will become entitled to eat from the tree of life! Our world will be full of life! Dullness, anxiety, depression will run out and what will remain is the fullness of life, every single day, every single moment!

To the Church in Smyrna

“To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again. I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown. 11 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.

The Lord appears to each one of us according to the preparedness and willingness of our heart to accept him and His word. To the Church in Smyrna, He appeared as the one who is the first and the last, who died and came back to life again! The Lord encouraged the Church by saying that even though they think that are afflicted and poor yet the Lord calls them “Rich.” How wonderful it is to ask the Lord to open and enlighten our eyes to see ourselves in His light. We will find ourselves living in a complete different world after the Lord has revealed our true self to us! We will be changed and the world around us will be changed for His Glory and Praise!

The Lord not only acknowledges how his people treat others but also how others treat his people. The Lord will reveal the true nature of the enemy to his people if they wait and listen to the voice of the Lord. The Lord will protect his people from hidden danger and the deception of men, if his people pay close attention to the voice of the Lord. The Lord will reveal things to come to his people and will strengthen his people to walk through every unknown territory, yet remain victorious. Those who have found themselves in Christ have nothing to lose! Whatever is stolen or lost, will be returned in double measure. “Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.” Zac. 9:12

Those who have lost themselves in Christ will be blessed with eternal life to live with Christ forever more!

To the Church in Pergamum

12 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.13 I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives. 14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. 15 Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

The Lord is aware of the place where you live and the people you are surrounded with! Sometimes we feel that we are stuck in life, it seems that nothing is moving for a long period of time and life seems empty and void. But don’t be disheartened! The Lord know where you are in your faith journey! The Lord knows who are working hard to make you renounce your faith. The Lord knows your situation! Be brave! He is watching over you!

The Lord is praising you for your diligence but he wants wholehearted devotion that is not mixed with any any false practice. Judge everything in the light of the word, even the work of those who are teaching you the word of God. God is ready to provide true manna to everyone who comes to him in faith. If you are hungry and thirsty for the true Gospel, pray and the Lord will send you teachers and shepherds that are after his own heart.

To the Church in Thyatira

18 “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. 19 I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. 20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. 24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, 25 except to hold on to what you have until I come.’ 26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— 27 that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’[b]—just as I have received authority from my Father. 28 I will also give that one the morning star. 29 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

The Lord gives great respect to his word. It is written in Psalm 138:2 that God “magnified his Word above all his name,” If God gives such respect to his word, how much we should give reverence to His word!  There are disastrous consequences that follow when his word is mixed with wrong practice. Pray that the Lord open your eyes and my eyes to receive the true gospel and never replace it with what we desire to hear!

If we long for the true Gospel, the Lord will reveal His word that will set us free and strengthen us to follow his precepts to glorify his name.

Revelation Series – Chapter 3

To the Church in Sardis

“To the angel[a] of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits[b] of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

The angel of the Lord gave a special message to John for the Church in Sardis. The Lord knows our works and spiritual state. He reveals our true spiritual health to us so that we may be strengthened and start working diligently for his kingdom. The Lord wants his people to hold fast what has been entrusted to them, because there are great blessings attached to that. Often time we begin with great enthusiasm but after a while we lose our spiritual fervor and focus. We leave our work half finished. The Lord is calling to those who have started but have not yet finished. There may be many reason not to continue the work – discouragement due to failures, health issues, family problems, lack of time etc. But remember that if it’s the Lord who has started something in you, He will bring it to completion. You just need to be persistent. Continue working for the Lord even though all you witness is discouragement and failures. Continue working for the Lord even though it’s painful to do so. The Lord is Sovereign and he is the Lord of success and failures, He has authority over day and night. Just make up your mind that you will persist and everything that try to hinder your work will run away. Just be persistent and you will find great reward from the Lord. The Lord has assigned great works to his people and based on their assignments, he has blessed them with spiritual authority. We have been clothed with power from above to do greater work for the Lord. But if we are diligent, we begin to lose our authority and our robe of power begins to soil in the sight of the Lord. Check what has been entrusted to you, are you diligent enough to guard your work and divine power or you are taking the work of the Lord too casually? Repent, if you feel you have gone away from your God given responsibility and work. The Lord will forgive and grant you with renewed spiritual strength and fervor to carry on his work. Be persistent and the Lord will acknowledge you before his father and his angels.

To the Church in Philadelphia

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. 11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. 13 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

What a blessing to know that the Lord has placed an open door that no one can shut. The Lord starts opening doors when his people persist despite adverse situations and circumstances. The Lord acknowledged that the Church in Philadelphia had little strength but they had kept his word. And since they were faithful and diligent to work for the Lord, they were blessed with more opportunities! Great blessings come to those who persist. If you have been struggling in your ministry and despite working hard for many years, you don’t see any progress, one of the reasons could be working halfheartedly! The Lord knows the condition of our hearts. And if it is dawned to you that you need to do more than what you are doing right now for the Lord, repent and ask God for his strength to carry on his work. Those who remain faithful and persistent become pillars in the house of the Lord. The strength of the Lord will keep you safe during time of trial. Those who look at you will know that there is something special about you since the Lord has written his name on you!

To the Church in Laodicea

14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. 21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

In God’s Kingdom, there is no use of lukewarm people. The Lord is not looking for strong and wise people, but those who are humble and obedient. Those who have a desire to carry on the work of the Lord, no matter what happens! If God’s people are totally reliant on God’s strength, they will be able to receive strength after strength and eventually every weak reason will run away from their lives. The Lord called the Church in Laodicia “Lukewarm”, What a blessing to be reprimanded by the Lord. For those whom the Lord reprimand are the Sons of God. Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Heb.12:7-11
Let’s evaluate our walk with the Lord. Lets repent so that we may not remain lukewarm anymore but be filled with consuming fire of the love of God. Once we repent, the Lord will bless us with new authority that he has kept only for His Sons!

Revelation Series – Chapter One

The revelation of Jesus Christ was given to John by an angel. The book of revelation is full of blessings. No other book of the Bible says, “Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophesy and blessed are those who hear.” Read aloud this book of prophesy and be blessed in Jesus name!

This book of prophesy was written for seven churches of God.

“Grace to you and peace from Him who is, who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of earth.”

John began the book by sending Grace and peace of God to the churches. Without the blessing of Grace and peace, God’s people can’t live a life that glorifies God. The blessing of Grace and peace is complete and whole since it comes down from the Holy Trinity – Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. No work for the kingdom of God can be accomplished without the blessing of Grace and peace. This speaks to the people who want to work for the kingdom of God or have been working for the kingdom of God, unless the blessing of Grace and peace is available, the service to God will not be fruitful and effective.

“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and forever and ever. Amen.”

Jesus shed his blood to redeem mankind from sin and consequences of sins. His blood has purified our conscience and delivers us from guilt so that we may serve the living God. Without being washed by the blood of the lamb, we can’t serve the God who is alive and lives for ever and ever.

When God delivers someone through His Son, Jesus Christ, He takes him/her from one glory to another by giving spiritual authority and new name. Those who believe on God’s work of salvation through Jesus Christ and confess that Jesus is the Lord enter into Royal priesthood and become Holy nation and Kingdom. Please notice that God multiplies the moment someone accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. One man or women becomes the thing of past and they are called by a new name “Kingdom.”  Kingdom where Christ is the King and an army of Holy angels come to help those who are to serve the living God. IF you are in Christ, you are not single but have become a nation and Kingdom. Wherever you move, the Kingdom of God moves with you. When others look at you, they see you many not one.

“Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

Jesus is our Alpha and the Omega. Alpha and Omega are the first and the last word of Greek alphabet. Jesus declares that he is the beginning and end of the creation. “He is before all things.” He is the fullness and completion of God’s creation. In his presence everything becomes whole. He brings life and light to God’s creation.

John was on the island of Patmos and on the Lord ’s Day he heard a loud voice like a trumpet.

Coming of Christ is accompanied with Holy angels who proclaim his praise and Glory. An army of angels was seen by the shepherds when Jesus was born. The army of angels goes before the Lord declaring his praise, honour and glory in a loud voice, like the sound of trumpet. The Lord asked John to write a book and send to seven Churches, and since Jesus is same yesterday, today and forever, he alone can tell what to do and where to go. Without receiving specific instructions from the Lord, no ministry can grow. Those who wait upon the Lord to hear his voice are blessed not only with God’s clear direction also the power to move in the direction of his will.

John saw seven golden lampstands and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe. “Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning, I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of his head were white like white wool, like snow. His eyes were

His feet were like burnished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like sun shining in full strength.”

John heard the voice of the Lord and saw the Lord clearly. John was on the island of Patmos but despite being at an isolated place, his eyes and ears were open to the Lord. This calls for great comfort for those who are at a place that seems isolated to them. Let whoever is reading be filled with God’s grace to see and hear him in all situations.

John saw the Lord in his glory and beauty. The Lord was wearing a robe with golden sash around his chest. The robe that the Lord was wearing is the robe of righteousness. Those who believe become righteousness of most High God and the Lord freely cloth them with robe of righteousness just as when the prodigal son came back to the father, father gave him a new robe so the Lord is willing to give a new authority, a new position to those who come to him leaving behind the old way of life. The Lord that we serve is Holy and just by looking at us, he delivers us from all evil. May the Lord shine his face on us and look at us as we wait upon the Lord to come on our way.

The Lord is the source of life and his voice brings life and refreshment to those who open their ears to his voice. The word that comes from his mouth is double edged. It is living and alive, that convicts the listener and brings him to complete repentance by its great power. The face of the Lord shines like the Sun that is shining in all its brilliance, those who look to the Lord become radiant. In Old Testament, we read that Moses spent 40 days at the top of the mountain with the Lord. When Moses came down, his face was shining. Paul says in 2 Corinthian 3:9, “For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.” And He said in verse 18, “We all with unveiled face, beholding the glory of Lord.” Rise and Shine, child of God for his glory has arrived by the coming of Jesus and his light is shining on you.

“When John saw the Lord, he fell at his feet as though dead. But the Lord laid His right hand on him saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last and the living one. I died and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and hades. Write therefore the things the you have seen, those that are to take place after this. As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the seven angels of the churches and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.”

The Lord declared his authority over the world of dead and hades in front of John in all authority. When John saw the Lord, he fell at his feet out of reverence and the Lord encouraged him by telling him, “Don’t be afraid.” The Lord is giving this message to everyone reading these words today. He says, “Don’t be afraid.” For he has conquered death and the world of dead. He is victorious who has made us more than victorious in his victory procession. What you see today, claim the authority of Jesus Christ the resurrected one over your situation, your life, your circumstances and everything. The Lord is sovereign and Almighty. He is the resurrected one who can bring everything in your life back to life. Confess the victory of the Lord over your life and tell him Lord I am more than victorious because I am in you. Declare this Christ earned victory every day and you will see yourself walking and running in Christ earned victory in your life. Whatever comes to steal kill and destroy has already been declared defeated by Christ, the resurrected Lord.

Do you want to receive revelation from Christ

Rev. 1:10,On the Lord’s Day, I was in the Spirit and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet.”

John was at the island of Patmos suffering and waiting for the Lord. Bible says in Rev. 1:10 that On the Lord’s Day, He heard the voice of the Lord which said “Write on a scroll what you see.” John received the revelation from the Lord Himself.

The Lord’s Day brings great revelations only to those who are waiting for the Lord. John was patiently enduring the suffering on the island of Patmos when Jesus revealed his glory and his Word to him. The Day of the Lord waits for the fulfillment of the time and the waiting for the Lord’s day fills God’s people with great endurance and patience, a unique endurance that gets renewed with every passing day.

Waiting for the Lord is not easy and it often fills with discouragement and frustration but nothing ever done for the Lord is useless. The Lord not only empowers the one who is waiting for the Lord with a unique strength and hope, but also fulfills HIS desire and purpose to turn his child into a special instrument for God’s Kingdom and glory.

Waiting for the Lord brings about the fulfilment of the word of Christ My strength is made perfect in your weakness.” The one who is waiting for the Lord may not be receiving any worldly blessings for a certain period of time, but the joy of the Lord abounds at this time and the Spirit directly controls our will and emotions to align them with the greatest purpose of God’s own heart that He has desired for us even before we were born.

Waiting for the Lord allows God to purge the darkness out of us, renew the Godly power and spiritual gifts in us and make us ready to hear and receive the word from the Lord “GO.”

Waiting for the Lord may seem a furnace of affliction at times but out of it comes out a powerful witness that could cause many to come to God’s Kingdom. The author of the book of revelation (John) could have never had the great revelation if he had not been patiently enduring the suffering for Christ.

Are you waiting for the Lord to come and rescue you from negative circumstances in your life. Have you been waiting for long and nothing seem to be moving. Don’t focus on what you are seeing today. The Lord is preparing a powerful witness in you and through you… HE IS GOING TO MOVE THE WORLD AROUND YOU AND YOUR TESTIMONY WILL BRING MANY TO HIS CROSS….The great revelation is awaiting to be revealed to you by Christ himself…Are you ready?
